First as an advocate for community betterment and now as a candidate for public office, Nikita Richards has always been a voice for those who struggled to find their own and has never been afraid to tackle the hard issues.

 

  • Nikita served in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged

    • Master’s Degree in Communication

    • ABA Accredited Paralegal Certification

    • Life CIL as an advocate

    • Multicultural Leadership Program as a social justice panelist

    • Boys & Girls Club as a mentor

  • Nikita currently serves on:

    • City of Bloomington Cultural District Commission (appointed in 2016)

    • Lawrence Irving Neighborhood Center of Bloomington-Normal

    • City of Bloomington Fire & Police Commission

  • Works for the City of Bloomington as a Employment Coordinator

  • Previously Nikita served as clerk for the Administrative Court
